Arsenal HistoryArsenal (aka Notebook Man aka Sun Going Nova) are Markus Jähi, Samuli Sipilä and Antti Toivonen from Tampere, Finland, who had visited local raves since the early 90s, and consequently started making music of their own; their styles varying from Detroit-influenced minimal techno to house tracks. In spring '96 they met Oliver Bondzio (of Hardfloor fame) when he visited Tampere, playing records at the Tribes party, who agreed to publish some of their music at his and Heinrich Tillack's Jakpot label. The output of this deal was the EP "Do The Twist", released as Notebook Man in 1997. Sun Going Nova is their latest moniker under which they performed at Tampere Hall on New Year's Eve 1997/98.
