[smooth]operator (earlier know as säde)


Säde is now called [smooth]operator (get it, 80s music fans?), and the album should be out before July 2000 on Kooky Records, UK.

A 7" EP from Säde, "Reflections of the Carambola", goes somewhat to the Aphex/µ-Ziq territory with its combination of gentle strings and heavy-ish distorted beats, with even some occasional drum'n'bass rhythms added. A surprise name from the Eastern Finland.
