IT'S A PROJECT - DA COS BOOK!
We are starting to handle orders for 'CHICKS ON SPEED:It's A Project".
This, the first COS publication, aims to capture the sense of freedom
and spontaneity characteristic to all the Chix ventures. The book is
divided into periods of their lives: 'Fake Band', 'Pressing the Press',
'Sell Out', 'Temporary Spaces', 'Modifidas' (imaginary products), 'We
Don't Play Guitars', 'Class War', 'Consuming Passion' and 'Heaven or
Hell or Just The End'. Die-cut, over-printed and assembled from many
different stocks, this book approximates a COS scrapbook, full of
press-clippings, personal mementos and ideas, printed ephemera and free
COS merchandise.
This is bound to become a must-have collectible!
No other publication exists about COS, and no other contemporary
band/artist/designer has produced such a genre-busting book. ;)
Hardback 200 pages, 300 full-color illustrations, die-cut, a CD titled
"Archive 1" of unreleased cos studio sessions and live shows,
his-and-hers shift dress, a poster, a pattern book of "The Overalls for
All" made by Jeremy Scott and cos , all in a printed fabric bag! Out on

Da CDEP has the album version featuring Peaches, as well as 4 remixes
by Cristian Vogel, Gerhard Potuznik, Captain Comatose and Christopher
Just, AND the video clip highlighted by Peaches descending from the
heavens with her pink flying V guitar! Vinyl version I is the same as
CD single (minus the video of course, even though there has been
experiments in pressing video signals to vinyl, I kid you not!).
Version II includes two remixes by Chicken Lips and Tiefschwartz
