- Just what is it that you want to do?

- We wanna be free...!
We wanna be free to do what we wanna do. We wanna be free to ride. We wanna be free to ride our machines without being hassled by The Man! ... And we wanna get loaded. And we wanna have a good time. And that's what we are gonna do. We are gonna have a good time... We are gonna have a party.

Davie Allan & The Arrows are best known for their "Blues' Theme" for Roger Corman's 1966 biker epic The Wild Angels, starring Peter Fonda as the Hells Angels leader Heavenly Blues and another 60's cult icon, Nancy Sinatra, as his girl. The film tells a story of a gang of cyclists taking their dead member Loser (Bruce Dern) to his last journey and funeral. Loser receives his last service in a coffin covered with swastika flag, the disapproving priest is knocked out cold, and the orgy of Angels ensues. The famous speech of Peter Fonda at the funeral was later sampled by such bands as Mudhoney and Primal Scream. Peter Fonda turned out another cult classic, The Trip, with Roger Corman (1967), and would continue his biker epics with Easy Rider (1969).
